An impressive and rare 19th century Ecclesiastical Church Alter table purchased directly from Marown Church on the Isle of Man in 1989.
The off white paint is totally original, including the gilding.
To the front of the alter table there are original oil on canvas that are built into the front of the alter table, with a gilt frame surround.
To each end of the table are two solid pine columns. To the base of the columns a solid pine base, making a perfect shelf to accommodate further decorative pieces.
The front and sides of the alter table are gesso with painted finish.
This is in extremely good over all condition and would make a magnificent console table or centre piece to any room.
A true piece of original ecclesiastical furniture. With a fantastic and provenance.
